Purpose of task

To make a concise encapsulation of your research outcomes

1. Make a poster (A1 size for example) describing and visualising your research process and outcomes. This display might include:

• a 300 word abstract – research question, context, methodology, outcomes

• a visual overview of the research methodology

• six keywords

• a glossary

• a few key references

• essential images and/or sample materials

2. Using the poster a starting point develop a presentation of 15 minutes duration. You could use a simple PowerPoint format or include materials essential to your research e.g. actual three-dimensional work.

3. Organise a research poster session inviting your peers to produce their own posters and presentations.
