Purpose of task

To develop an appropriate digital ‘storage system’of key references/source materials relevant to your research project.
 
 
1. Choose a suitable bibliographic software package e.g. EndNote, ProCite and customise it with new fields to include:

• a summary description of the reference/source

• a critical evaluation of the significance and value of the reference/source

visual and/or multimedia information (if appropriate)

keywords (maximum of 6)

key quotes

You also might want to add fields for

• categorising each reference in relation to research themes / issues

rating each reference for importance
